To be admitted, the applicant must satisfy:  Two principal passes with at least twenty one (21) points in the following subjects: Physics and Mathematics from the following subject combinations:

  • Mathematics, Physics and Geography;
  • Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics;
  • Physics, Economics and Mathematics;
  • Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science.

The Department may set its own higher entry requirements for the program

The Atmospheric and Climate Science program can help young scientists have good skills for understanding changes in climate and address environmental protection, which is one of the key pillars for the sustainable development of the country and the region. Some domains of research in line with the needs of the country are: Greenhouse gas measurements, Meteorology and hydrology measurements, Aerosol optical property measurements, Aerosol composition measurements, Atmospheric and climate modelling, Hydrological modelling, Hazards, Vulnerability: Impact of changes on settlements, agriculture; Adaptation and Mitigations to Climate Change.
