The University of Rwanda, under its collaborative programme with the ARES (Académie de Recherche et de d’Enseignement Supérieur) of Belgium, is calling for internal applications to a short training at a Belgian University in electronic library resources use for teaching and research in the field of Biotechnology.
The trainee will be expected to support the newly-created UR Biotechnology Centre set up within the framework of the UR-ARES Cooperation.
The present call is aimed at UR staff with a Master’s degree in Library Science, conversant with scientific article writing.
The selected applicant will receive a half-month specialized training in a Belgian University during the first quarter of 2016. He/She will be expected to support the UR Biotechnology Centre in setting up and use ICT-based library documentary resources.
The application file should comprise the following:
- Letter of application addressed to “The Coordinator of the UR-ARES Programme”
- Letter of recommendation from the supervising Dean/Director.
- Copy of Master’s degree in Library Science.
