In the context of Kwibuka 24, staff and Students of UR Gikondo Campus visited ten families of survivors of the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi who live in Nyagatovu Village in Nyamata Sector.
Remera Campus staff and students ended the commemoration week of the genocide committed against the Tutsi with a visit to Murambi and Kibagabaga genocide memorials, in Gasabo and Nyamagabe Districts respectively.
In the pursuit for quality research, a training for the University of Rwanda PhD students and supervisors and lecturers was organized around the use of Turnitin.
Today 13th April 2018, former Acting University Director of Research and Innovation, Prof Kato J Njunwa handed over his duties to Prof Deo Jaganyi.
The call was made by Dr Papias Musafiri during a night vigil held at the University of Rwanda Gikondo Campus organized in memory and honour of the victims of 1994 Genocide against Tutsi.
