The University of Rwanda is seeking for two postharvest experts to work on Reducing Postharvest Losses in Rwanda Project. The project is aimed at increasing food security in Rwanda, by understanding and identifying the most efficient ways to reduce postharvest losses. These staff will be based at UR-Busogo campus.
The Sustainable Development Solutions Network (www.unsdsn.org) was launched by United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in August 2012. The network is led by Professor Jeffrey D. Sachs and mobilizes scientific and technical expertise from academia, civil society, and the private sector in support of sustainable development at local, national, and global scales.
The University of Rwanda (UR) has partnered with the Fojo Media Institute, Sweden in a 4-year project to develop capacity for the School of Journalism and Communication (SJC).
